"Let's Sing" Irish Summer Workshop

Welcome to Mná Oslo Irish Choir's 2nd Lets Sing Workshop!

Activities for the day:

09:30 - 10:00 Meetup for day and chat - Coffee & Irish tea will be provided. .

10:00 - 11:30  Learn  a few more "cúpla focal" (a few words) of Irish language to help sing  songs in Irish with Gearóid Mac Aodha. This session includes learning a  new Irish song & for those who want, introducing your own harmony  into the song. You might even earn a Cúpla Focal pin  - 1,5 hours

11:30 - 12:15 Lunch snacks are served with some coffee/Irish Tea.

12:15  - 14:00 Cecilie Stensrud continues with song "Jimmy mo mhíle stór" from  last workshop & we also learn a new song. (Don't worry if you  didn't make the last workshop!) 

 We are very happy to have Brendan Monaghan as musical accomplement for this session. 

 You  are welcome to perform with us "Jimmy mo mhíle stór" song at a concert  with Aoife Ní Fhearraigh 15th August ‘24 in Oslo on the first day of  Féile Oslo, if you want to join! https://www.feileoslo.com/. 

14:00 - 15:00 The P1 room is available for further chattering,  informal singing & socialising.

All nationalities, male and female singers are very welcome to join the workshop

PS:  It is not a requirement that you can speak any Irish but if you want to  sing with us but it's very helpful if you can sing in tune
