Ceili

A ceili is a social night of dance and music.

There is usually a ceili caller, who will choose the dances and prompt the dancers as they are dancing. That way, everybody can join – even if you don’t know the dance.

Together with Sound – Irish Dance Factory, we try to organise at least four ceilis a year. Féile Oslo is always holding a ceili during their summer school in August.
